​​​​​​     Promoting the Beef industry and Agriculture. Educating the Agricultural industry.

Plumas-Sierra CattleWomen are very active in BEEF Promotion all during the year. We strive to provide children and adults in our communities with a variety of opportunities to learn the benefits and value of beef in our lives. 

    PSCW participates in BEEF Promotion events and fund raiser throughout the year. Seems we have one or more events each month. We provide recipes, beef-related brochures and samples to the public. We have our booth with the Plumas Sierra Cattlemen at the Plumas County Fair. We provide beef samples and or mini Beef  Tacos. There is a coloring contest for the kids to participate in, too.  Our CattleWomen are always willing to answer any questions that may come. 

    At our dinner fund-raisers, we serve a different beef recipe each year and have our hand-outs always available, along with beef cuts posters and recipes.  One of our local stores places recipes and brochures in every customers bag. Thank you Goodwin's General Store in Chilcoot, Ca
